Kilka dni temu w pracy znajoma podeszła do mnie i powiedziała:

Ja, zawsze żądna informacji, dosłownie połknęłam następnych kilkanaście zdań. Po kilku, miałam gębę otwartą ze zdziwienia; bez oceniania, ale po prostu ze zdziwienia: co teraz można, jak, po co, dlaczego, z kim itd. Myśli nadeszły potem. Było to tak:
facet, X, który karmił to dzieciątko, siedział tam ze swoją matką, która adoptowała go (Iksa), jak był maleństwem. Jego sperma została połączona z komórką jajową kobiety z Islandii; następnie zapłodniona komórka została wszczepiona kobiecie w Indiach, gdyż tam surogatka kosztuje ok. 65tysięcy dolców (ciekawe, ile z tego ta pani tak naprawdę dostała, a ile firma, która się tym zajmuje). Chłopczyk, Atlas, urodził się 6 tygodni temu, X, poleciał po niego i od tamtej pory są razem.

Macie otwarte buzie ze zdziwienia, czy takie rzeczy są teraz na porządku dziennym?

Gdy wczoraj wieczorem przyjechaliśmy do mojego Brata i Galii, przez chwilę w TV mignęła mi reklama programu (na MTV - pamiętacie, gdy kiedyś był to program muzyczny?), w którym 16 nastolatków próbuje odnaleźć swojego "ojca" - tego samego dawcę spermy. Czuję się, jak koń, z klapkami na oczach. Z jednej strony widzę coś i chcę widzieć, a z drugiej boję się tego, co mogę zobaczyć, a potem pomyśleć, mieć swoje zdanie; inne, konserwatywne; boję się potem głośno powiedzieć i być osądzona, że jestem zacofana, niemodna, że to kitu z religią, która nie widzi bólu rodziców, którzy nie mogą mieć dzieci. Do kitu z tym, gdy ktoś nie widzi, jak cierpią homoseksualiści, którzy tak pragną mieć dziecko, a nie mogą i, jeśli ich stać, to muszą posuwać się do takich działań, jak pan z początku opowiadania.
Czasem z Pawłem marzymy, że wolelibyśmy urodzić się w innej epoce. Ale wtedy też pewnie włos jeżyłby się na głowie z innych względów, a ja nawet nie mogłabym Wam tego opisać na blogu.
